670 sq ft – Aquatic Screening Do It Yourself Kit – $399
This aquatic weed screen is designed to be placed over your weeded waterfront area. The thickness of your weeds will determine whether or not you would like to cut them before you place your screen down. The idea is simple; you roll your aquatic weed screen on the water over the area you would like to have your weeds removed from. Once the screen is in the right position, you let it sink to the the floor of the water, covering your weeded area. Watch the video of the process:
Includes all materials for installation. Approx. 670 sq ft of Weeds B Gone Screen. 3 Sections 8ft wide x 28ft long. Screen comes with pockets sewn in every 4 ft Thermally sealed poly tubes for each pocket just add sand (sand not included a total of approx 3 bags of DRY, all purpose sand required to do complete kit approx. cost $5/bag can be purchased at local hardware store.) Funnel to fill sand tubes & instructions.

Aquatic Weed Rake – $69 The aquatic weed rake is the most simple form of managing non aggressive weed growth through your waterfront. The rake is used to root up any aquatic weeds that exist in your desired swimming area. The aquatic weed rake is used by dragging the rake over your weeded area, as the rake pulls through the aquatic weeds , they will float to the surface of the water. It is typical to follow this procedure with a net in order to remove the floating weeds. |
